Evening all...
There has been a number of comments about familys and what role we each play in them...for example in my Mystress's family i tend to be her protector, confident and pleasure giver. Its a role i love to do...i love to serve my Mystress in this capacity.
My new little sister has asked what her role would be and Mystress has told her and given her the role she shall fullfill. One can read all about them in my Mystress's comments to her.
So my question to our guests is as follows. If you are part of a D/S family...what role do you play in the family? If your not in one...then what role would you love to fullfill in the family? If you do not consider it a family..then what role do you see yourself fullfilling in the relationship you are in?
I hope that a discussion on this would provide much information for those interested.

May i first say congrates on the sign assignments. You are e to z ahead of me.
I must confess that before meeting Mystress the concept of a D/S family was to me, a contridication in terms.
Mystress has shown me the romantic side.
Opened up my submissive soul in ways unimaginable to me five years hence.
Raised me from my knees of ignorance to a service of honor and dignity.
Shared with me Her Pride of Ownership.
Her joys and sorrows.
Her dreams and visions.
Well, some anyway. Some are still kept in the dungons of Her castle. Laying dormant in the shadow of the Twins.
Some should probably remain there. Like that glove. Where in the world did She come up with that thing?
She is far more than Mystress. She is Goddess material at the very least.
She has the imagination of a Temptress with the wisdom of a Queen.
Spooky huh?
Her commands are close to Her heart and entwine into my everyday life with a rythm that communicates Her desires to do ones best. Always and in all ways.
To carry Her flag proudly in any battle.
And Her laundry. Yes its true. Among other services,I have a burning desire to be Her butler.
Her Mr. French.
Her Lurch.
To sweep Her pool when She is away.
To hang Her robes in neat, ordered fasion in Her closet.
To hand Her a candle when She wickedly wishes to wax one.
To offer comfort to one of Her injured slaves. ( I hope your suffereing is brief Devn and i was there to distract you with music and prose and tales of Ulless's. )
Yes, a kinky domestic engineer.
Her gentle fingers should never know dish water, Her soft peds never tread a dirty floor. Her oil never lack for changing. Her vehicle that is.
As Mystress sometimes requires much attention, which probably grows expotentailly even as we speak, the diversity of station will most likely remain in constant flux.
This is the only D/S family i know Paladin and I thank you kindly for allowing me to share a piece of that reality. Your services here having given me many wonderful opportunities to commune with Mystress on matters we have only briefly had time in the past to converse on.
Soul searching confessions from both sides.
A dark side that thirsts for the light of day.

Thank you for the question. It's something I've never thought about before. Certainly something to consider.
I'm always surprised at the number of different ways people relate to one another and how different relationships can be formed.
Reading your blog has opened me up imagine many new possibilities.
Lovely words there Robert....quite elegant indeed. Its good to have some poetic words on the site as it adds to the multi faceted dimensions Mystress and I are trying to promote.
And to you Axe...we are glad that our little blog can inspire such a change of thoughts...Mystress and i truly do try show others that there are many aspects to a D/S relationship and that each can be different and unique from teh next.
