Evening All...
We hope that everyone is doing well and that the year treats you all well. Things sure are looking good for Mystress and I.
My dear Mystress at this very moment is on her journey to Texas...our new home. We were so lucky to have Lady D free to travel with my Mystress and they decided to make a round trip of the travels. So there they go...taking a much slower pace and enjoying the journey towards Texas.
Even the little ones are travelling much better than we thought even after our little lion decidied to do a jail break the fist day of travels. Mystress and Lady D were chasing the little devil around a neighbors backyard trying to get him back in his cage. Poor little guy, he really doesnt like the car but so far, he is travelling well. Little Pixie, as long as she is near Mystress, all is well for her so kudos to them for not being a pain to my Mystress.
We so look forward to the time in Texas. I tell my Mystress to enjoy the time with Lady D and make it a great vacation and not to worry about setting up the house. Maybe some of my fellow subs can suggest the same and convince her its a good idea :)

Oh goodness! Can totally picture the scene of them chasing down the poor thing...
Wishing all of them a safe journey!
Much love and hugs,
mouse
Your little lion probably just planned to stretch his legs and can't imagine what the chase and panic was all about.
And Mystress, I would agree with Paladin that you should go easy on yourself with setting up the house. Might as well go slow and make it a pleasant experience rather than a chore...or as pleasant as unboxing can be. lol
Hugs,
Donna
I am sending good wishes and warm energies for their safe and happy journeying... I do understand, Paladin, the wish to take the work load off your Mystress with regard to the unpacking and household setup, but I would also suggest that, for us female types ((regardless of the role we play in our relationships) the hands-on part of setting up our homes is very soothing, fulfilling, and almost instinctual.
All the best,
Sue (swan)
Thank you all very kindly for the well wishes and good thoughts!
We have arrived safely at the last stop before moving to the house next week.
It was quite an adventure chasing the little lost lion (although at over 18lbs, he's not so little). His leash broke as he went over a fence, hence the bumped up security following digging behind woodpiles and under rose bushes to re-claim him. After his capture, we put D clasps on both cage doors, with his vest on and new leash tied to the travel cage, and he got half a sleeping pill each day. Kept him pretty comfortable as his cage took up half the back seat and had his favorite blankie in it.
After being reunited with his scratching post perch last nite, he did many long scratches on it, obviously pulling on his muscles and back. And Pixie, likes to be in his empty cage at night. Pixie is just happy to be curled up on her little pink blanket.
Now, we await Paladin's arrival.
And both Donna and Sue (swan) are right... I'll be glad to do setting up, like Christmas as I place each loved thing in its new home, also, but not feel in a mad rush to get it all done and organized at huge speed.
Best Wishes to all...
Mystress
